After the first UK-EU Summit in May 2025, detailed negotiations between the two sides are beginning in earnest. How are the negotiations likely to progress over the coming months? And can closer UK-EU cooperation support improved living standards in the UK?
Our panel includes Hilary Benn MP (Secretary of State for Northern Ireland), Rain Newton-Smith (Director General, CBI), Paul Nowak (General Secretary, TUC), Andrew Lewin MP (Chair of the UK Trade and Business Commission), Isabell Poppelbaum (Deputy Head, EU Delegation to the EU) and Naomi Smith (Chief Executive, Best for Britain).

One-to-one briefings
MPs and staffers are invited to attend one-to-one briefings across the four days of Conference. Briefings will cover fresh polling revealing the latest voter attitudes to UK-EU relations, and the next stage of Best for Britain’s new analysis of Reform-curious voters: ‘Decoding Populism’.
