Save British Farming

In 2016, Vote Leave pledged to give British farmers "at least as much support" as they enjoyed in the EU if Brexit went ahead. Now Michael Gove (who headed the campaign) is changing the funding formula in a move that could let 25% of farms go bust post-Brexit.

The consequences could be severe. The National Farmers Union say a the changes would leave British farmers 'in the red' and limit food production, while the National Sheep Association warned it could halt the provision of nutritious, quality food.

The government must deliver on the promises made during the referendum. They must ensure that Britain doesn't lose a penny of funding and that the deal delivers for rural communities.
