Conservative members should be allowed to hear from Best for Britain #Conferencegate

Conservative Party HQ has banned Best for Britain and other pro-European groups from advertising events to their conference attendees. They think they can keep their members away from difficult ideas by refusing to put us in the conference directory.

UPDATE: Now the Conservative Party has refused to grant Best for Britain staff passes to attend the conference. Our CEO, Eloise Todd, and two other members of our team had their applications for conference passes declined with no reason given. Our event is still going ahead. We're not giving up.

Best for Britain works with people from all parties and none, and it's important free democratic debate takes place. Brexit is the biggest, most complex issue our country has faced in over a generation. Conservative members are grown ups who can surely be trusted to know what's best for the country, even if they hear ideas that disagree with government policy.

Democracy needs debate. It needs people to listen to all sides and make informed decisions. The Prime Minister should not be scared of debate. Sign the petition to demand that Theresa May lifts the ban on remain groups at Conservative Party conference and puts our event in the conference directory.
And if you are attending Conservative conference please join us for the event ‘Do we need a people’s vote? The Conservative case for a final say on the Brexit deal’ on the 1st October at 10.30am in the Barra Room at the Hilton Garden Inn with Dr Phillip Lee MP.

We, the undersigned, demand Theresa May allows full debate on Britain's relationship with the European Union at Conservative Party conference.
