We're gathering evidence on how businesses in Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the European Union are being impacted by the EU's new General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR), which came into effect on 13 December 2024.

It would be helpful if you could think about the following in your response:

  • Business name
  • Business size (e.g. sole trader; micro/small/medium/large; number of employees)
  • Whether you have stopped trading with the EU/NI since GPSR came into effect (GB businesses)
  • Whether you have struggled to import goods since GPSR came into effect (NI/EU businesses)
  • How you plan to overcome these challenges
  • Whether you have had adequate support from Government, trade bodies, etc.
  • Whether you have been able to find adequate information on how to comply with the regulations
