Inflation rises: Government can bring down costs by removing Brexit barriers

According to ONS figures, UK inflation rose to 2.6% in November.

This is the second month in a row that inflation has risen. The ONS have reported that the increase is mainly due to the higher costs of clothing, petrol and diesel.

Naomi Smith, CEO of Best for Britain said,

“While there are other factors at play, the new Government should be doing all they can to remove the artificial Brexit barriers put in place by the last Government which continue to increase costs for businesses and consumers even further. The best way to do this is through beneficial regulatory alignment with our largest and closest market in the EU.”
