Save the Human Rights Act

Under Boris Johnson, we saw the Government become increasingly authoritarian. There is no sign his successor will be any better.

After repressing peaceful protests, and politicising the elections watchdog, the Johnson Government set in motion plans to take away your human rights which look likely to continue.

We don’t intend to let this happen - so will you support us along the way?

We are working hard to mount a challenge to this authoritarian agenda. We have made long-term plans for campaigns, working with key stakeholders and advocates and raising crucial awareness through social media.

It is only through a perfect balance of all this work that we can achieve the outcome we want: a future Government reversing its plans to tear up the Human Rights Act.

Unchallenged, a future administration could rip up the rights you have through dismantling the Human Rights Act, through the introduction of a so-called ‘Bill of Rights’ which actually weakens the protections you have.

All this costs money. Will you join us and stop this cynical ploy?

Donate today and you can be part of this vital attempt to hold the Government to account.

During regulated election periods the law says we must make sure all donations of £500 or more are from people who are registered to vote in the UK, or companies that are registered and conduct their business in the UK. That's why we ask for your address and a phone number. If the same person donates more than once and their donations add up to more than £500 in the same calendar year, the same rule applies. Donations over £7,500 must be published by the Electoral Commission. Donations we find to be inadmissible may have to be returned.

Outside of election or referendum periods we welcome donations from anyone who wants to help Best for Britain.

Donations by debit/credit card are processed by Stripe.
