07.03.2025 A statement from Best for Britain's Director of Campaigns
I’m trying very hard not to open by saying “the world has changed” because it’s been said in every op-ed, Substack, and podcast this week. But, the world really has changed. There is only before that Oval Office moment with Zelenskyy, and after - at least in the sense of modern geopolitics. Here is why our work is still so vitally important...
18.02.2025 What will happen in the German election?
On Monday, Olaf Scholz was the first of the amassed European leaders to leave the emergency Paris meeting on the rapidly escalating situation surrounding Ukraine. Unlike the other leaders, Scholz is under remarkable pressure as Germany’s federal election approaches on Sunday. Scholz knows that he will lose his chancellorship, but the complexity of the German electoral system and the guarantee of a coalition means that the divisions in the country are likely to continue, especially under the shadow of the AfD, American tariffs and interference, and now Ukraine.
12.02.2025 Immigration? No thanks. Immigrants? Yes please
This is a guest blog by Peter Kellner. Subscribe to Peter's Substack.   Immigration matters. We all know that. It vies with health care and the economy for top place...
03.02.2025 What is happening in Germany?
Yesterday, hundreds of thousands of Germans took to the streets of Berlin to protest against the leader of the centre-right Christian Democratic Union (CDU), Freidrich Merz, after he collaborated with the AfD last week. Merz' decision breaks a longstanding convention in German politics to not work with the far-right. So with the German election just 20-days away, what is happening in Germany?
27.01.2025 What does the Belarusian election mean for Europe?
Yesterday, Belarus’ incumbent president, Alexander Lukashenko, won his seventh term in office. Belarus remains the Kremlin’s closest ally in Europe, previously acting as a staging post for Russian troops entering Ukraine, and with increasing interference in Eastern European elections from Moscow; what does this election result mean for the region and Europe at large?
20.01.2025 What does a Trump presidency mean for the UK?
On Sunday, President Trump promised to bring down inflation, bring back jobs to America and impose tariffs on competitors around the world. But whilst Trump may be insulated from the cold today, how might the UK’s economy fare when exposed to an increasingly protectionist United States?
13.01.2025 Badenoch must resist calls to leave ECHR
Campaigners have called on the leader of the Opposition to show leadership after Tory MP Steve Barclay urged Kemi Badenoch to pledge to leave the European Convention on Human Rights.
09.01.2025 What is the EU’s Digital Services Act and why does it matter?
In recent days, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, and politicians in Germany preparing for national elections on the 23rd February 2025, have expressed their concerns regarding the influence of Musk on European elections. In particular, MEP’s are calling for enforcement of the Digital Services Act, so what is it and why does it matter?
18.12.2024 Six reasons why the UK needs immigration
Today is the United Nations' International Migrants Day, a day to shine a spotlight on the invaluable contributions of millions of migrants around the world.
19.11.2024 Busting the myths around male asylum seekers this International Men's Day
Gender should not dictate your right to safety. No human being is illegal, and seeking asylum is a human right. This International Men's Day, we're breaking down the myths around male asylum seekers, and exploring why the UK's asylum system is unfit for purpose.

Change Minds Change Politics

We are the researchers, data scientists, strategists, and activists, fixing the problems Britain faces after Brexit. We conduct polling to help politicians lead debate, not follow it. We design policy for whoever is in government, today or tomorrow. And we give voters the tools to speak to, and persuade, those in power. We believe that when we change minds we change politics for the better. And that all of this is Best for Britain.
