Save Welsh Farming

In 2016, Vote Leave pledged to give Welsh farming "at least as much support" as they enjoyed in the EU if Brexit went ahead. Now Theresa May refuses to give assurances that current funding levels will be maintained.

The consequences could be severe. Meat Promotion Wales say a 'no deal Brexit' would cause a seismic shock to the Welsh farming industry, while the Farmers' Union of Wales warned that rural Wales would break down completely.

The government must deliver on the promises made during the referendum. They must ensure that Wales doesn't lose a penny of funding and that the deal delivers for Welsh communities.
