Braverman sacked: The country needs an election not a reshuffle

The Prime Minister is facing calls for a General Election after firing his Home Secretary.

Suella Braverman was sacked after comments last week which many believe undermined the Metropolitan Police and contributed to scenes of violence at the Cenotaph over Remembrance Weekend.

Naomi Smith, CEO of Best for Britain, said

“Throughout her time in office, Suella Braverman sought only to divide, inflame and victimise, all in the interests of personal advancement.

“That she was repeatedly put in positions of power is unforgivable. The country doesn’t need a reshuffle from this tired government. We need a general election now.”
