The EU’s chief negotiator Michel Barnier has today told the European Parliament that “an agreement is within reach if both sides are willing to work constructively.”

"The EU has been clear that it wants to talk and reach a deal.
"Given where the economy is, it makes no sense for the UK to quit these talks at such an advanced stage. Time is running out and Brits won't forgive the UK government for sticking its head in the sand.
"In the midst of a global pandemic and with so many jobs on the line, the government must resume negotiations with the EU and deliver on its election promise to secure an 'oven-ready' trade deal."
