MPs will not vote on Theresa May Brexit deal until after Christmas, Downing Street has announced this afternoon. Responding to the news, Best for Britain champion Alex Sobel MP said:

"The government hope that they can play for more time and that will solve everything. Sadly this bad deal is bad now and it will be a bad deal in January.

"Brexit has not cancelled Christmas.

"The government can kick this can as much as they want but soon, we are going to run out of road.

"The government aren't stuck between a rock and a hard place but between the backstop and the DUP."
