Responding to news that AIG plan to move their European insurance operation from London to Luxembourg due to Brexit, Best for Britain champion Gareth Thomas MP said:
“This is the latest in a worrying trend of businesses making the decision to up sticks from the UK, taking their tax contributions and jobs with them.
“The government must stop this uncertainty and give business the reassurances they need to retain their presence in the UK. That’s what’s best for our economy and what’s best for employees and their families.”
