Best for Britain advocates the 114 recommendations published by the cross-party UKTBC and which are designed to remove trading barriers with Europe to get inflation falling and the economy growing. Key among those recommendations are beneficial regulatory alignment, a youth mobility scheme and a new UK Board of Trade.
Tom Brufatto, Director of Policy and Research at Best for Britain said,
“The Government must urgently work towards breaking down Brexit barriers through beneficial alignment with the EU, to increase the flow of trade to and from our largest market.
“Starmer is right to say we must not choose between the US and the EU, but when it comes to trade there can only be one priority and that must be Europe.”
