Campaigners have criticised the Conservative Government’s record of broken promises since 2019 as the Prime Minister launched their new manifesto today
Rishi Sunak today promised to cut employee National Insurance by 2027, "halve migration" and reduce stamp duty for some first time buyers
However, he faces a cyclone of cynicism from a public burned before by broken promises from the Conservative Party.
The Prime Minister also failed to meet 4 out of 5 of the promises he made at the beginning of 2023.
Naomi Smith, CEO of Best for Britain and founder of tactical voting website, GetVoting.org said,
“Sunak’s problem is that even his own party doesn't believe him, never mind the public.
“Britain needs a clean break from the last fourteen years of failure and people need to vote tactically for change.”
