May would be 'good time' for Trump visit to UK after Brexit says his envoy

U.S. President Donald Trump might visit Britain in May 2019 after the country's departure in March from the European Union, the U.S. ambassador to Britain, Woody Johnson said today. Responding, Best for Britain champion Virendra Sharma MP said:

"Donald Trump shouldn’t be welcome in the UK.

"Global Britain isn’t embodied by pivoting to the bigoted US President, the most protectionist for a century.

"His last visit cost the taxpayer nearly £18 million and we should have to fork out millions more for his latest vanity trip."
